In 1916, James Vernon Glade founded the Glade Candy Company in Salt Lake City, Utah. The city is known for its salt water taffy — the shores of the Great Salt Lake have always been associated with this confection. In 1994, his grandson David Glade renamed the company "Taffy Town" to assert this specialization in taffy excellence. Today, it's the 4th generation — Jason and Derek Glade — that runs the 4,000 m² factory in West Jordan, Utah. A real family story!

What makes Taffy Town unique is their "whipped" process: the melted sugar is beaten and aerated to trap tiny air bubbles inside the candy. The result? An incredibly light, melty texture, completely different from classic taffy that sticks to the teeth. Egg whites and milk add an incomparable creamy touch. 1.3 million pieces produced every day!
