Cracker Jack: the American popcorn with a surprise inside since 1896!

Did you know Cracker Jack is in a famous American song?

In 1908, the song "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" was published with these words: "Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack...". It's the song they've sung during the 7th inning of every American baseball game for over a century! That's how Cracker Jack became inseparable from American sport and US pop culture. The brand was founded in 1896 in Chicago by Frederick Rueckheim, a German immigrant who sold his caramelized popcorn at the World's Fair.

And the famous surprise? For decades, every Cracker Jack box contained a plastic toy, a figurine or a gadget. Today the surprises are often codes for digital games, but the spirit has stayed the same: there's always something to discover at the bottom of the box!

The Cracker Jack to discover

• Cracker Jack Original — the classic mix of caramelized popcorn and roasted peanuts. Sweet, crunchy, lightly salted — a perfect harmony!
