What is a group order?
A group order is when a few single orders are gathered into one major one. This is a very convenient solution for people living in the same neighborhood, belonging to the same support group, or working within the same company etc.
One person leads the group by compiling everyone’s order.
What are the benefits of group ordering?
- For the whole group: if you buy as part of a group, you save big bucks on shipping costs. Don't forget to mention you order is a group order in the comment box when checking out.
How does it work?
To ease the process, My American Market has designed the following document for you to use/print:

Each page corresponds to one person’s order. The total for each single member as well as the total for the whole group order get automatically calculated. The group order leader then needs to go to www.MyAmericanMarket.com and online shop the different products. Once the payment goes through, the group leader will receive the whole order at his/her personal address within 2 business days. He/She is then in charge of redistributing each of the products to their owners.
How do I get paid?
We strongly advise you to only collect payments once the order has been processed online:
- Despite our best efforts to carry a consistent stock, some products can become temporarily unavailable. This is to take into account as it could alter the amount due by your group members.
- Shipping and handling costs will be calculated once the order is being processed online. You might want to wait until you know the exact costs to divide it up between group members.
