Marshmallow Peeps, the most adorable snack of all time

Back in 1953, Just Born created Peeps, the very first yellow marshmallow chicks. Today, there are lots of other fun and adorable shapes and colors of marshmallow Peeps that kids and adults alike love, like marshmallow Peeps bunnies! The brand now makes some of the best-selling American sweets thanks to its unique offering and its iconic seasonal marshmallow treats. Peeps are the 4th most popular Easter candy. Did you know? Roughly 5.5 million Peeps are made every single day! And it takes 6 minutes to make just 1 Peep (a far cry from the 27 hours it took when they were first invented). If our awesome math skills serve us correctly, that's 33 million minutes a day dedicated entirely to making tasty marshmallow treats! (How many marshmallow Peeps are sold each year? We'll let you do the math.) That's a lotta chicks! But there's more to Peeps than the yellow chicks that probably come to mind. Peeps come in over 40 different flavors, and more than 50 different shapes! There's a creature or shape for every occasion: Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentine's Day, and more.
They're legendary! In fact, rumor has it that a famous Hollywood director is even planning to give Peeps their very own feature film sometime soon! And you can bet the My American Market team will be first in line to see it when it comes out! Especially Dorian from customer service, who's a huge movie buff.

Impress your friends and family with our Peeps marshmallow treats this Easter

Adorable nests are the perfect Peeps marshmallow treats for your Easter spread, and you can make them at home with just a few simple ingredients.

It's easy: start by gathering as many Peeps chicks as nests you want to make.

To make your nests, you'll also need dried chow mein noodles (you can also use pretzel sticks broken into pieces that are about an inch long), butter, and regular marshmallows. Melt together the butter and marshmallows, then stir in your noodles.

Scoop up some of the mixture and shape it into little nests. Nestle a Peep in the middle of each nest, and surround it with chocolate or candy eggs.

Pop your nests in the freezer for 20-30 minutes, and then dig in!
